Some documentaries just don't materialize, but in trying to make them, they bring together people who would never have met.  It was a pleasure meeting Bill Vanderkloot, with a filming company from Atlanta Georgia, who has made documentaries for HBO.  Scott Collins, Clerk and Master Chancery Court Hancock County, Tennessee,  has a wonderful heritage, the Collins genealogy can be found on this website under the "Research" button.  Brent Kennedy can be credited with bringing attention to the Melungeons with his book, "Melungeons, Resurrection of A Proud People."   After his book came out, everyone wanted to be Melungeon.
